Asiatic Lilly

These lilies are supposed to be easy to grow.  And available in what one nursery had to say in all the rainbow colours.

Pretty aren't they?  They require very little care.  And seen in full bloom from June - July.

Botanical name - Lilium Asiatic

At Lake District. UK.  The owners even left a label along with the plant.

  1. Beautiful Asiatic lilies. It is so difficult to grow them in my part of Asia:(

  2. Is it? I guess we have the other kinds of lilies.

  3. The Asiatics seem to like our cool Summers and are very hardy. If there is a downside to the Asiatics, it is that they all open facing upwards, al right with the short ones but the taller varieties are out of view to those under six feet tall.
