Peace Lily

Peace Lily also known as Cobra Lily.  It does look like one ready to strike. Botanical name - Spathiphyllum wallisii - family Araceae

Sturdy popular plant in house gardens.  Also can be an indoor plant.  Leaves rise directly from soil. Flowers last long.  Start as pale green before they turn white as they open. Flower attracts pests and that needs to be taken care off when kept indoors.
